Spacious & robust!
In contrast to its smaller sibling T40E, and especially T28E, there is much more space inside T56E. Thus it is also much more suited for larger valuables. It has, as T40E, a stronger construction than the T28E with 2 mm steel sheet all around and a 3 mm door. Very spacious yet easily handled!
Battery powered code lock!
In contrast to other cheap safes this one is equipped with a battery powered keypad code lock. This is great for many reasons! Here are some examples of when a key box might come in handy: - You don't have to look for keys or chase the one who has the keys. - If several people are supposed to have access to the cabinet, it is always easier with code instead of keys. - You don't have to carry the keys with you and you never have to risk ill-fated hiding of keys, which thieves are used to.
And if the batteries run out?
The safes code lock warns you when the batteries are running low, so that you can replace them on time. Should you still miss these signals, there is also an emergency key included with the cabinet. This key should of course NEVER be kept inside the cabinet but at another adress. Likewise if you forget what code you've chosen, the emergency key comes in handy again.
Improve security even more!
We at Arkivexperten always recommend that you change code a few times a year. By doing so you increase the security to a great extent. Firstly by decreasing the risk that a functional code reaches an unauthorised person. Secondly, by avoiding unequal wear of buttons that might otherwise hint about which numbers are used in the code lock.
Anchor the safe!
It is vital to anchor safes of smaller and lighter weight classes such as this safe. Otherwise it is too easy for thieves to take the safe with them for later breaching at a safer location.
